I build software that
founders can bet their business on
I'm Kim Ung — a solo developer who's been tinkering with computers since 2008 and building software professionally since 2020. I work directly with founders and technical leaders to build SaaS products, internal tools, and solid architecture. No layers, no handoffs.
What I build
Three areas of focus. Each delivered with the same standard of engineering and attention to detail.
Things I've built
A selection of products and tools shipped for clients and myself — from internal dashboards to customer-facing SaaS.
HyFabric
High-performance network proxy engine built in Rust. Fully async architecture with lock-free concurrency, real-time admin dashboard, and automated node orchestration.
9sight Trading Bot
High-performance algorithmic and AI-driven trading engine. Rust core for low-latency math ops and data parsing, Python layer with PyTorch/transformers for ML models. Connects to crypto exchanges via CCXT, executes strategies with microsecond precision.
Minglab App
AI-powered Chinese name generator with cultural intelligence. Generates names across styles (classic, modern, poetic), analyzes character meanings, and provides premium certificates. Built with user authentication and shortlisting.
AI Document Processor
Automated document intake system that extracts structured data from uploaded PDFs and images using vision models, then pushes clean records into the client's CRM.
Just joking around. Production is safe, I promise.
The universal engineer experience
const worksOnMyMachine = true;const inProduction = false; if (worksOnMyMachine && !inProduction) { console.log("Ship it.");} else { console.log("Investigating...");}Every engineer knows that works_on_my_machine === true is the most dangerous boolean in software.
Numbers that matter
I measure myself by outcomes, not activity.

What others say
I let my work speak first, but here's what past clients have shared.
“Kim brought the kind of engineering maturity we couldn't hire for in-house. He shipped fast without cutting corners.”
“Clear communication from start to finish. Kim told us what we needed to hear, not what we wanted to hear. That honesty saved us months.”
“We needed someone who could come in, understand our system, and improve it without breaking everything. Kim delivered exactly that.”
